As co-founder of Saussy Burbank, Downie Saussy helped
make great architecture and craftsmanship accessible
to everyone.
When he decided to reenter the homebuilding
industry, he wanted partners who shared the same vision. Chip
Shelton and Jack Furr were the perfect fit. Both
Chip and Jack have been in the homebuilding industry
for many years, focusing on livability and customer service.
Downie, Chip and Jack will be involved in the design and
construction of every home. They will personally ensure
that each customer is receiving the attention they deserve – something
we believe makes Walker Madison unique among the region’s
